PowerPoint is not friendly for recording narration on the Macintosh, but there is a nice workaround using a free software on the Mac called Keynote. As the screencast demonstrates, you can open a PowerPoint with Keynote– use Keynote to record the narration– and then export a video from Keynote. That video is what gets uploaded to Canvas for students to consume.
